The appeal hearing of Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, also known as Nana Agradaa, a former fetish priestess who has since become an evangelist, has been postponed by the Amasaman High Court until February 5, 2026, when the court is scheduled to deliver its judgment.
Nana Agradaa, who was found guilty of charlatanic marketing and defrauding by pretense, is contesting both her conviction and the 15-year prison term she received on July 3, 2025.
She describes the punishment as disproportionate and argues that the trial was defective and that the facts did not support the verdict.
Her attorney, Richard Asare Baffour, told the media following the hearings on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, that the delay was due to the Attorney-General’s Office’s disregard for previous court orders.

He clarified that the delay was caused by technical issues with the electronic material needed for the appeal.
Mr. Baffour also revealed that the defense rejected the Attorney General’s Office’s plea for more time to submit.
In response, the Attorney-General’s Office was allowed to submit written addresses if it so desired, and the court set February 5 as the date for ruling.
“The court has adjourned the case to February 5, 2026, to deliver its judgment. By then, the Office of the Attorney-General will have the opportunity to file its written addresses, if it is minded to do so,” Mr. Baffour stated.
