Kelvynboy survives accident, suffers fractured ankle

Ghanaian Afrobeats musician Kelvynboy has narrowly escaped a potentially fatal accident, sustaining a fractured ankle in the incident.

The artiste shared details of the ordeal in a social media post on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, describing how divine intervention and quick action from his associates saved his life.

According to Kelvynboy, the accident occurred a few days ago at the sidewalk near the back of Centre Point Mall when a driver reversing lost control of the vehicle and headed straight towards him. He credited two of his team members for spotting the danger quickly and reacting promptly, preventing what he called “the most tragic news all year” for himself and his people.

“Give thanks for life still,” he wrote.

Despite the injury, Kelvynboy issued apologies to promoters whose shows he has missed due to the accident and urged them to coordinate with his management for rescheduled dates.

“I’m racing against time, I’ll be there (with Crutches if need be) to rave. Nothings gon stop us now!” he added.

Kelvynboy also shared a video update from the hospital, confirming he is in good spirits as he recovers.

Kelvynboy, born Kelvyn Brown, rose to prominence after being signed to Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group before going independent.
