The senior women’s national team’s second match against Russia is set for Tuesday, March 3. However, because of the ongoing unrest, they have not yet received permission to train for this match.
Ghana’s Sports and Recreation Minister, Kofi Adams (Hon.), and Foreign Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (Hon.), have both called to provide the country’s support to the team during this time. At their base, the management, technical team, and playing body are secure.
