Ebo Noah, a self-proclaimed doomsday prophet, has been granted bail of GH¢100,000 by the court, with two sureties, one of whom must furnish verifiable security in the form of a landed property or vehicle. The matter has been postponed until March 18, 2026, for a further hearing.
The accused’s defense team hailed the ruling. Speaking to the media following the result, the accused’s lawyer, Emmanuel Sarfo, praised the court’s decision as a reasonable exercise of judicial discretion.
“Thankfully, the court has exercised its discretion because discretion must always be fair, reasonable and just. So, it exercised it well pursuant to our laws and admitted our accused to bail with any property, with a landed property or a vehicle, in the amount of GHS100,000, and that is all,” he stated.
Ebo Noah’s bail conditions require him to furnish two sureties to ensure his attendance in court, one of which must be supported by actual property.
The court stressed that compliance with these requirements is obligatory, and failure to do so may result in the revocation of bail.

The case will return to court on March 18, 2026, giving both the prosecution and the defense more time to prepare for the next round of proceedings.
The culprit, Evans Eshun, was arrested by the Ghana Police Service’s Special Cyber Vetting Team on December 31, 2025.
His story received widespread attention because he openly said that God had warned him of a world-ending deluge on December 25, 2025.
The self-proclaimed prophet had built what he called a “ark” on his property, which he believed would save humanity from an oncoming tragedy.
When the foretold apocalypse failed to occur, Noah apparently altered his prophecy, claiming that his prayers had effectively postponed the destruction.
